Should I even bother with PoE anymore? If all of the gear gets left behind and etheric light is deprecated then there is no reason to even play it.
Also, by making old Raids obsolete they are essentially shrinking the size of the game. There will only be one Raid to play after TTK, whereas we have 3 types of PVE endgame activities now.

VoG and Crota will get new gear and weapons, I don't know about PoE. Anyway, who cares about Etheric Lights? I have 30 and I don't even do PoE.

I don't remember it but every RPG game gets new versions of gear for each raid each expansion.
