Do you like the new VIP shader?
We're all proud of being part of year 1, whether you accept it or not. And with the recent unveiling of the new shader, I had a thought.
I HATE it.
Why on earth do we need ANOTHER black and white shader? Whats the reasoning behind that? I've been a loyal supporter of new monarchy, and my friends live by dead orbit and future war cult. I have nothing against against the colors, but have they thought we have a tad bit too much of it? I mean, black/orange is an option, black/blue even. God even something as generically "cool" as black/red would be a welcome introduction. And I'm atleast keeping half of the motif there, they could choose drastically different colors, as long as we don't get repeats of shaders we already have. I know you revenant users and dead orbit players would be have stronger opinions than me, so why not share em' here?
Edit: Welcome to the part where I yell at the forums because they don't get the point. This is not complaining about what they're "giving us for free", even though that's a dumb comment in itself. It is about the DESIGN of the shader. If I handed you crap on a stick, you would have to accept it because i gave it to you, regardless of it being crap, as per most of your logic. And while this shader is far from crap, it adds to the eye sore of the ridiculous amount of black/white/monochrome shaders in the game already. We (atleast i hope we) want something interesting to look at that also lets people know we did something cool. Is that too hard to ask for?

As I am too lazy to grind dead orbit and new monarchy, and I like their shaders. Im all for this shader and suros' shaders

The icon looks exactly like revenant thats the only bad thing, I was hoping they'd have a free emote too.

Suros shader is red and white, year one shader is black and white... and fwc...well nothing can really match those colors lol

I don't have much of a complaint about that shader specifically but more about shaders in general. Not even a complaint really. I'd like more variation in shaders, I see a lot of black/white/greys, orange/blue/white, purple/pink, A lot of the shaders use the same base colours and end up looking relatively the same. I'd like if we could make our own shaders (this is obviously wishful thinking and will never happen lol that's fine though). Like you can collect materials everywhere and each one or combination creates specific colours, then you could use the colours you created and shade and highlight specific parts on your guardian. Everyone could personalize, and everyone would look unique (colour wise anyways lol).

4 RepliesI want a place to got create shders. As simple as just making each shader a combination 3 different colors. And then they can make it to where you drop new colors, giving you the ability to use that color in the creation of shaders. Then they can also have templates. Theses would change what parts of the character would change when the colors are applied.

Well for those that like black, but can't manage to get the dead orbit shaders they want it could help them out. And besides you can still you the emblem, sparrow, and new ghost.

They should have let evry one create a single shader of their choosing. We get all the colors. And we puck the 3 rings and can preview it on our gaurdian. We can even name it. This would have pleased everyone I'm sure
