THE NO EXOTIC LEFT BEHIND PROGRAM
From the beginning of the Destiny Universe (Launch) we as guardians have been grinding for an entire year. We grinded for Vex Mythoclast. We grinded for Necrocasm and still are. We grinded the boring pile of shit we know as Prison of Elders. We grind these repetitive activities know as Strikes and Nightfalls and Raids. (Well raids aren't that repetitive) For all these exotics. From Weapons to Armor. Us as a consumer, no, a community have put in more than over 1000 hours into this game.
We became addicted and most of all desperate, to obtain our favorite weapons. And not only that but we grinded hours of crucible and Vanguard strikes to level up those favorite weapons after it took us months to get them.
Now that we have The Taken King arriving in 3-4 weeks, it has been announced that 60-70% of all our exotics will not be "redesigned" for the upcoming DLC.
Weapons like the Hard Light and Necrocasm will not compete against the new Exotics. With this information our community has been set a blaze. Angered, and felt betrayed even after being so loyal. Many say we should stop crying and deal with it. Some say other wise. Well I say... No! We should scream at Bungie, make them hear our voices. This is not what the consumer wants. We as a community. We understand that our developer wants us to play a certain way. But when it comes to our money on what we paid for. This is back stab. Everyone in the community should go against this outright abomination of a company at this point in life, and make them bring back for what we paid for. We earned these exotics, majority of them we got from Engrams, nightfalls and Raid. They done a lot to us to make us happy. But we cannot simply ignore the things that make us upset.

[b]Edit 2:[/b] Also remember we never got to experience the power of the Auto Rifles during the House of Wolves. They were nerfed to the ground and almost unsuble. Most of the Dark Below Auto Rifles as well.

All or none is what I say. What kind of a slap in the face is it to bring only certain exotics. I don't care about them being revamped, just let us increase the attack values.

I'm fine with some Exotics becoming irrelevant. It spices up the game. It makes you desire some of the newer Exotics instead (which would likely happen anyway). I'm happy that some Exotics will get an "upgrade" boost to Level 40 and will cost you some marks to reobtain. I'm one of those that barely played Destiny because it has made me angry to no end since its launch. With The Taken King, Destiny looks to finally be everything I ever wanted out of Destiny in the first place. I dropped my extra $80 to get the "Digital Collector's Edition" and am currently trying to obtain all the Exotics I missed. This weekend, Xur is my favorite friend. Especially since he finally got me to Level 32. I'm looking forward to seeing which Exotics I don't have in the new expansion and aiming for new ones again. Let's leave some of the Exotics behind to Year 1, and lets embrace some of the Year 2 Exotics instead.

Bump. If that will happen I want my money back or at least half owe it from Bungie. Why? Because I put in this game 1200 hours and if the stuff that I been possessing becomes irelevant than it means that I lost hours from my life for nothing. Let me the one to decide what I will do with my exotics not somebody else controlling me. I paid a price for this game so I'm the owner of my character and my inventory

Most of that shit has been nerfed to the point of not being exotic in the least bit. I say clean slate, burn our vaults (which is where most of my exotics tend to sit) to the ground and start all over.

Signed, because the grind is real. I think we should get like a super reward. After that pay for play beta we've been playing for the last year. Now the real game comes out and f the tester. Here's everything we have learned from them and they payed us.
