I was wondering the same thing. Black Hammer, Gjallarhorn, Fatebringer, etc. will no longer be relevant in The Taken King, so there's no need to nerf them unless they don't want us to use them in previous activities. I was very surprised to see the Hardlight and Necro not being a part of the weapon upgrade if they're tweaking them to be better. tripleUPSET
