i dismantled the majority of my useless legendary shit ( a full vault minus a few select favorites and exotics,plus two alts loaded with more purples) like a week before you guys thought to remind everyone its important NOT to dismantle until year two......do i get cornholed just for doing today what i should have left until tomorrow?

Well, not entirely. Yes, they won't be able to become stronger... but so far, they announced they can be used in year 1 activities such as poe or VoG. They will also scale in crucible except in Iron Banner
