Pretty sure it was either or I don't remember reading that you have to have both of the expansions and a 30.

He has to complete the Moments of Triumph in order to be considered a Year One player. Meaning he needs both DLCs.

I'm referring to the shader , emblem, and sparrow. Not the triumph emblem.

In order to get your Year One VIP stuff you have to be considered a Year One player AND have the DLCs, in order to be recognized as a Y1 player you HAVE to complete the Moments of Triumph.
