some things in Destiny like blink and Gjallarhorn are really good. They are in fact over powered and very hard to balance without taking away what makes them special. Bungie can't remove them and they can't leave them alone, so they leave them behind. none of the new subclasses have blink and gjallarhorn will remain a year one exotic. other exotics are fun to use, popular, unique, and fairly balanced. These exotics that fit in with new destiny are carried over to year 2.
