Mainstream pop is really just the same repetitive song over and over again (almost always about breaking up or falling in love. I can stand the occasional Bruno Mars song, though). As for trap, where dubstep actually sounds like music, trap doesn't. At all. It just sounds like making a bunch of annoying screeching or scraping noises. Add the fact that many of our greatest electronic artists have been twisted into making that shit, and you have one overrated genre. If it actually [i]sounds[/i] like music, however (one of such songs actually happening to be "Where R U Now"), I [i]might[/i] be able to take it. How anyone can actually call it music is beyond me, though.
