The weapons now work off the total light level you have, so if your total light level is 280 but your using an old exotic (ghorn) it will still be useful and effective in all but the highest end content. Thats why I don't mind as I don't feel the old stuff is becoming irrelevant. - I don't care about Ghorn personally nerf it into the ground as its been a crutch for to long. If I could bring one weapon it would be fatebringer, I hope to find a similar replacement gun in TTK.
