Hey cozmo why is year one exotics being left behind it doesn't make sense to me.

They aren't we will have blueprints to keep our exotics even if we dismantle them in fact, some exotic weapons and armor will be carried into year two damage but unfortunately not all will though. Also exotic weapons from year one will look different if they were carried into year two damage such as Suros Regime, its white and red now.... But the year two version will look steel-grey and red. I hope I've answered all your questions!!

They are only bring some at the time of release. There is a possibly that they'll add more but not likely. Main reason is to give players new gear to use and not carry the same ones for the next year cause than there would be no point and going for new ones if you're happy with the ones you have unless you want to collect them
