Good morning clan mates. This is my first public service announcement, and it is kind of a big one. Firstly, I would like to welcome all the new members we have gained, and I look forward to playing with you. Secondly, is our #missionstatement as a clan. We are more than just Year 1. We are Honor Guard. This is what the focus of this clan is. You as members are valued by myself as well as, all other members within the clan. Our goal is to have fun, make friends, and #help other players; regardless of grimoire score, level, load out, age, or when they began playing. Thirdly, #conduct. We are #HonorGuard. There is a conduct expectation held to that title. I have continually stated that I do not kick people or ban them, that all are welcome, which is why the clan is open with no restrictions; unfortunately, I have been forced to change this view due to recent events. I was recently contacted by a lower level player who approached one of our members (a new member who you joined within the last 48 hours) in the tower and asked for help. She sent me a picture of the response she was met with: [quote]With a grimoire like that, scrub gear, no gally, and only a lvl 27, I'll help ya, but you gotta drop 10 bucks in my paypal cause year 1 don't help a scrub for free[/quote] This is unacceptable. This is not how our clan operates, nor how our member should act. This member was evicted and banned from the clan as well as reported to bungie. I do not take pleasure in doing this, nor do I want to. However, in the interest of all of our members and the continued growth of our clan, it was needed. I hold our members in high regard, and I hope you will all agree that this type of behavior is unacceptable, and violates the goals of our members. So again, I am glad for all the new members, I welcome all the new ones to come, and I look forward to your stories of how you stood a wall against the darkness, defending those new guardians who have requested your aide and helped them to rise in confidence and stature. Remember clan mates. We are Honor Guard. We stand with new guardians regardless of what separates them from us, with no restrictions, requirements, expectation of reward, or gratitude.
