• Dude I can understand the Legendaries being left behind not so much the Raid gear but to add to that we are losing 2/3 of the exotics. We don't care if they get redesigned for TTK we just want them to be at stats level for endgame TTK playing. Also you must be unaware of the lack of content within Destiny already so for them to pretty much take away almost everything from Year 1 going to Year 2 is completely retarded. Now I wouldn't mind if this was going from Year 2 - Year 3 with Bungie making us leave Year 1 stuff behind. But this is only the second Year and its too soon for all of Year 1 stuff to be left behind.

  • Think about it, it's happening. For one, you can't stop it now, Bungie is too fair into to stop it. Get over it, stop crying that your crutch weapons are being held back. Welcome to the way MMO style games handle with major expansions.

  • Destiny Vanillia and even with the two DLCs already lack content, not sure if you understand that one. I am ok with them leaving behind the Legendaries, I don't think you quite understand that. What I am mad about is them leaving behind the Exotics too because as it is most Year 1 stuff shouldn't be getting left behind until Year 3.

"Welcome to how MMO style games handle with major expansions" No way in hell would it be enjoyable if you stay with the same weapons throughout your whole first two years in this game. Seriously though, if this really upsets you that much - I'm very scared of what your future has to offer as an adult.

  • Mmos actually making you want to leave your old stuff behind, this feels forced because bungie probably can't make better weapons so they make their really good ones obsolete instead of trying to balance them

Its not forced. Your not forced to dismantle your guns, your not forced to not use them. They'll be there where you aren't doing a high level activity.
All MMO's force players to do stuff like this, in all honesty.
• Well I just think it's too soon for exotics and raid gear being left behind, I'd say year 3 is when year 1 stuff should be left behind
