Hey, I understand Bungie is a corporation set with guidelines by Activision.. You guys are set with making tough decisions everyday, some for the best of the many even if it upsets the few.. I understand as the community manager you can only do so much and that entails just speaking.. I want to love Destiny, it's like you took Halo and gave it elements of my favorite sci fi super heroes and then gave it to the PS4(halo was Xbox exclusive). I'm not here to bash anything, just here to make a simple request. Please allow ALL year one exotics into year two I get that you want us to try new gear and not be stuck on just that one weapon or just that one armor. But the best thing about the best game games are how massive they are. Massive to me is versatility, diversity, options, uniqueness.. Allowing everyone to be exactly what they want to be in a big world they love. Player will fall in love with the new gear if you give them the chance, but to slyly force them into picking between Door Number 1 and Option A sucks and when the majority realize that, it's only going to make the game feel hollow again. Again by limiting the options for gear, you invalidate VoG(some weapons would be pointless to obtain since their power wouldn't be at the peak of what's available) you will invalidate HoW. You will make a lot of Year One some of the most pointless time spent in a game that has ever happened and it will go against everything Bungie has preached about what makes Destiny different(bringing your guardian and your favorite gear all the way to year 10) I understand you're trying to create a fan base that accepts what Bungie gives them and the best way to do that is to make the critical changes that will make the nay Sayers go away and leave the loyalists behind But you stand to gain so much more as a company that used to stand for so much more(all the game modes halo let its community create, giving us forge, custom matches, player set events and matches, the scarab rifle) everything that made the community fall in love with the name Bungie, if you give us the type of freedom with our game that you gave us with the Halo series That starts with open communication and less manipulation , it continues with the exploration of a world that isn't limited to a wall, and ends with bringing what we want where we want in a universe that's supposed to make My guardian, Your guardian, Our guardians legendary.. How can I feel like anything is mine when it gets taken away from me Gives us nerfs, make the ascension damn near impossible to achieve, make the New gear more powerful.. Just give us the option to say hey I could Use this year one gun but nah I'd rather use this Extremely sorry for the super long read and the time you took if you did give this any notice.. But it'd mean a lot to see Destiny become something that it used to stand for and even greater
