No way in hell would it be enjoyable if you stay with the same weapons throughout your whole first two years in this game.
Seriously though, if this really upsets you [i]that[/i] much - I'm very scared of what your future has to offer as an adult.

Mmos actually making you want to leave your old stuff behind, this feels forced because bungie probably can't make better weapons so they make their really good ones obsolete instead of trying to balance them

Well I just think it's too soon for exotics and raid gear being left behind, I'd say year 3 is when year 1 stuff should be left behind
