I gave up soda pop, suggest good alternatives

So I quit drinking soda pop 7 days ago, it sucks. I exclusively drank fountain drinks only, but had at leas one large drink every day. I don't drink coffee, energy drinks, or tea. So far I've been having lots of strawberry banana smoothies, apple juice and water. Anyone else not drink pop? What are some good alternatives? Edit: so even though I mentioned water in the OP, we have had 20 mentions of water along with a few other popular suggestions such as; Heroin Meth Cocaine Crack Cigarettes Semen Cum Bleach Dank memes Deez nuts Nuka Cola Lean Urine Breast Milk Hydrofluoric Acid And many other really good suggestions as well. I just wanna say thanks for taking the time to comment, and I will start drinking water only as of tomorrow.

  • Water is the key my friend. If you can get yourself there drink water almost exclusively. I used to drink nothing but Coke and Mt Dew. I ended up in the hospital once because I had been working 10-18 hour days for about a month strait and I knocked my heart out of rhythm by overdoing sugar, caffeine, and work. The doctor told me to quit caffeine but I continued to use it for about a year. When I did quit soda finally I did it cold turkey and I went though detox. I had the shakes for a couple of days. I was drowsy for a week. I was irritable. I got sweaty easy. Now that I don't use caffeine, or work 3 jobs while doing volunteer work and going to school for that matter, I am much more balanced and even keeled. My overall health is much better. It took me a while to give up the other flavored drink crap as well. The stuff is full of sugar, or worse: artificial sweeteners. You are much better off if you eat your fruit then if you drink it. Stick to water if you can, it will take some adjustment but in the long run you will feel better for it and your health will improve.
