Raid Exotics should have Y2 versions!
As the title stats I believe that the Raid Exotics we have worked hard for should get Year 2 versions. Even if they don't get new perks they should be able to reach the same damage output as the Year 2 weapons.
Why? Because they are so hard to get and it would encourage people who haven't done the raids yet to go out and do them. Also it doesn't really make sense to buff Necrochasm or Lord of Wolves if they are going to become meaningless now does it?
Please address this Bungie. Let us use the raid exotic weapons we worked so hard to get that were outshined by exotics like Ghorn.

1 ReplyYou'd think it being a Hive oriented expansion would mean Necrochasm would finally get to bask in the light of day for a little while longer while they all remained relevant to the game, since well, after this the Hive are pretty much gone. Unless Oryx has a daddy and he's still around too. But I doubt that. Unless, no... his father is the Given King, Xyro (as in zero -blam!-s given & oryx backwards cuz Bungie loves to reuse content.) And he 'gives it' to aliens instead of using mind control to 'enthrall' them. And he too will overcompensate with a huge sword. And seek to smack you with it over and over again and glitch out doing so. And he will also have the power to reset your Exotics just as you go to challenge him in his own xpac, the effect is called 'Dark Belowing You Again.'

Yep. The raid and PoE exotics we just got 3 months ago. Worthless. Awesome eh?! This "new" exotic upgrade program sure sounds familiar. [b]Taken King exotic upgade:[/b] Find a old exotic, go to the tower vendor (blueprint kiosk), pay large sum of currency (150 marks) and get a higher damage [i]UN-Leveled[/i] version of that exotic. .....that's now painted black and may have slightly different perks [b]Dark Below exotic upgade:[/b] Find a old exotic, go to tower vedor (Xur on weekend), pay large sum of currency (7000 glim and 1 shard), and get a higher damage [i]UN-Leveled[/i] version of that exotic Hmmmmmm. ALL exotics should have year two versions

I think the reason theyre not doing this is because every other raid weapon/armor is now obsolete. I don't really like their logic. Raid weapons should always be ascended.

I do agree otherwise what's the point of doing them anymore make a level 36 vog and level 38 c raid at least it give them something to try for.
