So over the past couple of Weeks I've been checking the weekly updates for news about the taken king. What I've found makes me very unsatisfied. Bungee says we have to do missions to get exotics, the new subclasses, ect. What this says to me is: "the taken king has so little story (like the 2 other dlc's), so we've had to make everything a mission to try and make it longer. Those fools that play it shouldn't notice that." Now this is just my thoughts, so i might be wrong, but let's just see how long it takes people to just complete the story missions(by that I mean oryx) without doing any exotic missions or anything. The exotics will be like the grind for gjallarhorn in vanilla, husk of the pit when Crota first came out, and of corse the elder cipher for those that could only do 34 Poe. Will bungee keep on screwing us over during year 2? Because so far i say yes. Thanks for reading and feel free to leave a comment.
If you play destiny for the story or story missions, you are doing it wrong. While structured like an mmo, it doesn't have the depth of ancillary activities available that other mmo's have. In WoW, you could spend your entire time crafting and get hours of entertainment out of it. Destiny is about endgame activities solely.
