Watch the above video, and pay close attention to what Tyson Green...the man in charge of the loot system...says.
Then kindly stop with the stupid petitions and posts on the subject. Just because MIDA, Hard Light, Gjallahorn and others aren't getting year 2 revamps in TTK DOESN'T mean they won't in the future. "Right now" are the 2 most important words that come out of Tyson's mouth. Does it please me? No. A couple of my faves are getting left behind initially. (Notably Hard Light and MIDA) But at this complaining isn't changing anything.

Edited by ColNapalm: 8/22/2015 1:00:27 PM"Right now" and "Won't change anything" are where your thesis collapses - on both logic and knowledge. There are so many misimpressions about 'how business works' (including Bungie) on this forum and are usually provided by pipe fitters, stockboys and correctional officers who have no knowledge or experience and a jaded view of 'the man'. Whining is then charged and often tossed abusively at the most influential people any business, government or organization will ever hear - and listen to. Provide one example of a company that doesn't plead for feedback (including Bungie). You can't. Its the most important input into strategy and execution and the most sensitive risk in the matrix. That's not to say that all your clients sceaming will garner their intended result or that one person politely asking won't get everything they ask for. It is to say however, that every voice on record counts many more times than those who remain silent. Countless products have changed, services added or dropped and policies have been dropped because of feedback. When I was in college, Magnum PI was brought back from cancellation cause the uproar was immediate and everyone could adjust. Many many TV shows have had similar fates. Slow feedback, delayed feedback is not nearly as effective. Uproar is highly effective and not only pressures a (any) company to comply or motivate, it deeply affects their bottom line - more than sales does. Stock prices, partnership confidence and deal requirements suffer fastest when a company is under attack and where issues, confidence or dissatisfaction is well identified with any level of significant consensus. "Right now" is spouted by every Bungie employee as much for you, the customer as for their partners. They ARE willing, however reluctant, to change anything if the threat or influence is sufficiently significant. I'll tell you what all the accusations of whining have accomplished though too. They've driven away feedback, annoyed a large client base and helped brand Destiny and Bungie as hostile. That alone has done more damage to the game than people leaving or avoiding the game in future. So keep it up if you want but you're wrong, uninformed and only really hurting yourself.
