The reason why I am letting the links speak for themselves is because if I were to even reference people involved, I may be banned as well

He violated the CoC. Pure and simple. You don't get exceptions for being a big guy in the community. This ban will allow him to change and maybe think about not letting his ego get to him next time.

Why was he banned? Was it because he made critical long posts about bettering the game? Makes no sense to me. I think he was banned because they don't like people speaking their mind. Shame on you ninjas/bungie/activision. Your darkened souls shine brighter everyday.

7 RepliesAt least a third of the people on here curse in a post once a day. This is politics and not ninja justice. If it were really ninja justice, you would see a lot of people getting banned for saying, " OP is fgt."

Wait, what am I missing here? What exactly got him banned? I don't see anything out of the ordinary here. Seriously. Is it because he used a couple profanities? I see profanities on these forums every day . What about dirty leg? Did he get banned? I'm confused. Help me out here.

95 RepliesCan I say this one last time. You are not helping anyone. Half the community have no clue what it's like to make decisions like this. I'm a forum moderator and I know the questions you need to ask yourself before dropping the banhammer or issuing an infraction. No volunteer moderator likes banning anyone. It really is a last resort but if the person in question has stepped over the mark you are often left with no choice. Trust me the fallout is often unpleasant and I've received my fair share of abuse. You learn very quickly not to care and grow a very thick skin. Lol Now back to subject at hand. If Sols PM'd his version of events, that's his business. Posting it all the forum does not help any of the party's involved. In fact it often makes the whole situation a lot worse, more arguments and more unnecessary work for the Ninjas here. Sols has been banned, whether it permanent or not is none of our business. That is solely between Sols and the Ninja who dropped the banhammer. I openly admit I dislike Sols posts (I can't say I like or dislike him personally, I don't know him) but whatever side you take on this it all needs to stop. Now.

Looks like I already muted Lost Sols a ways back. Since I don't mute without reason, I have no doubt he deserved whatever ban he got. Go ninjas! Keep cleaning up the forums!

He was silenced because for some reason his voice was becoming louder than most of ours. It was becoming influential and he was heavy with followers. Bungie couldn't let sols descide for everyone else wheather the taken king was worth buying, especially a few weeks before release. I'm sure they'll consider un muting him after ttk is released.
