The figure disappears, and then you hear breathing behind you
-
[b]He slowly turns around mid scan to see what's breathing on him.[/b]
-
You see the same figure you saw earlier staring at you about 2 feet away
-
[b]Midnight is startled by this act of teleportation. He looks at the figure, but he doesn't seem to say anything.[/b]
-
The figure begins advancing until the two are face to face, the man speaks with a spooky, whispered voice. "The Brotherhood of the Shadow needs your help"

[b]The Captain continues to stare, but you can hear muffled speaking. It's too faint to make out any words.[/b]
-
The man speaks up, "We need your help."

[b]The muffled voice repeats itself louder as well, but it's still too faint.[/b]
-
The man pulled down his hood to reveal a mask, he took it off to reveal a young cyborgs face. "We need your help."

[b]Midnight remembers something and he flicks a switch somewhere on the helmet.[/b] "Hello?"

"Hello, can you understand me?"

"Uh, yeah." [b]His voice sounds sort of weird, as if he's underwater or something, but his voice is understandable.[/b] "So, what do you need help with?"
-
"I need you to kill a mark for me."

[b]Silence.[/b] "Yeah, could you say that again? Sounded like something else."

"We do not have time for foolish games, if you cannot understand, we will find someone else"

"But, I don't know if I can kill someone. I could get arrested, and Scanners like me are fresh meat in prison!" [b]He turns away.[/b]

The stranger grabs you by your collar and lifts you up "listen here, you're going to scan for her, and if you don't, I'm going to leave a trail of your blood all over this city. So, do we have an understanding?"

[b]The Captain nods fearfully.[/b]

"Good, I don't need you yet, but when I do I will return to this same spot, and you will be here, and if you try to run, we will find you." The stranger then disappears into darkness.

[b]Captain Midnight walks away, paranoid and scared.[/b]
