I believe in Greek gods. Why should I believe in your gods? I'm gods are the real gods. Manuscripts and word of mouth tell me so.
I know my gods are real because they were known before Christian gods were made up
I know my gods are real because they actually explain why there is strife as well as fortune. Your god only says "be good and you get to be saved" yet there are counties where the babies starve to death. Your god explains nothing about war

In the time when everyone believed the Greeks gods the world was progressing steadily intellectual and logic progression insued combined with philosophy. Meanwhile at the height of Christian control we had the dark ages of regression. Not buying into your god that became more popular later on. Nice try
