Haha, I love it! What you basically said was atheists are only allowed to dispute you within your belief system and your book. Do understand that's not how counter points work? A counter point introduces new different ideas to your argument. So your idea is explain to you how god doesn't exist only using "evidence" from your book where god exist. Logic? You think?

That's not what I said at all. My point is that if you are making an argument against something that is stated in the bible, you should know the context and understand what is being stated before making a fallacious argument.

Then I guess I don't get your point, and you should explain it to me better. Nobody is arguing the the bible doesn't exist, we're arguing that god doesn't exist. I get the context and within that story that was written there is a god, but it doesn't make him real. I understood the context of Harry potter too but I don't believe in wizards.

My point is pretty clear.

Not really, but I think we are getting off on the wrong foot here, I think it's fine that you believe in god, and the bible. It's ok to have faith, but faith isn't facts. in fact, the idea of faith is the to believe in something despite the facts against you, so faith is the complete opposite of facts.
