Ayy Crenshaw was an amazing mixtape, a lot of people sleep on Nipsey.
-
All the things you said are pretty damn true.
-
Nipsey hussle is a normal ghetto rapper with some good rhymes nothing special
-
Generalizations can be made about everything so I don't get what you are trying to say.
-
I guess what I'm trying to say is that nipsey hussle doesn't have anything that sets him apart. He's not special, or good for that matter.
-
A rapper is a rapper, most don't have anything that sets them apart nowadays except race gender or an annoying voice.
-
That's not true. J Cole and Kendrick Lamar are two of the most socially aware and realest rappers out there. Their songs are catchy and really speak to the listener. You're talking about the kind of rapper like current Lil Wayne or Nicki Minaj.
-
Well at least you listed good rappers, being real is important to rap, thats why I really dislike people like drake and such. (long list of bad surface rap that I'm not gonna list)
-
I understand where you're coming from m8 as long as we both appreciate the hood rappers
-
-
Smh so uncultured to good rap, look both of them up they better then all the mainstream rappers people are listing.
-
Define "good rap"

Thought out and well spoken verses, (chorus isn't rapping even if the chorus is rap) the song has speak something to some degree whether its from the artist or meant for you.(hence not spend all this money and do drugs although some of those songs are good) then all of the remaining attributes are just general for good music (beat, tempo, sync, tone, chorus ect.)
