That is exactly what I said, except you're taking one side and saying that the other side are the only ones to do that. Surely the people with the other opinion to you could say that it is you who are interpreting the Bible according to your beliefs. What makes you right and them wrong, other than the fact you 'understand the bible better' which is a totally ambiguous thing anyway.
