Vanilla I never heard of destiny until the midnight release I was there picking up NHL15 and saw all the nerds waiting for some new game so I bought it also and never played NHL afterwards LOL

Funny, I bought Destiny day one because I was torqued at EA for their crappy NHL15 release. I do not regret buying Destiny. I even bought the expansion pass a month later. Sadly, after nearly a year of playing I see the long reach of Activision pulling the Destiny strings. While fun, it is time to move on and reward other developers/producers with my dollars just like I did last year. In fact, call it a role reversal... last year I got Destiny instead of NHL15.... this year I will get NHL16 instead of TTK.

Nhl stopped being a fun game after 09...personally wouldnt slend money on a sports game ever again
-
You're right about NHL15 it sucked hope 16 is better

Lol i knew of destiny, hell even saw the gameplay demo from E3 way back when, but i never really payed attention to it. About 2 weeks before Sep. 9th i go to gamestop looking to buy/pre order something and then i see this setup for Destiny and decided to go for that instead of Dragon Age Inquisition or Far cry 4. I have been addicted since september and i dont regret it
-
Dude, that's hysterical. I love how you got into the game on a simple whim. Didn't even go into the store looking for it, and ended up addicted to it. Lol

Edited by WSox 35th: 8/24/2015 2:57:50 PMAlso if I knew back then about the PS4 exclusives I would've bought it for PS4 instead I got it for xbone it turned out ok though most of my Xbox friends had the game also almost none of my PS friends had it.
-
Yeah, the exclusives are idiotic, but you know how money works. Companies always follow that paper trail. At least it worked out. I'd rather be playing with most of my friends than playing exclusive stuff, but I have to be honest, I'd be really sad to not have my Hawkmoon.
-
Just saying now, Microsoft had chance for exclusives... But they declined and sony accepted...
-
I don't know why they would decline. They kick out for pretty much everything else. I mean, just look at Tomb Raider. That was completely unnecessary and it isn't even fully exclusive. It's just a year.
-
I don't know why Microsoft would decline either.
-
Yup I hear you at least I can get a hawkmoon now once TTK comes out.
-
Hell yeah. I wish they'd just stop with the exclusives already. Like, I'm on PS, so it isn't actually an issue for me, but it still pisses me off that the players, the people ACTUALLY playing the content, have to be left out of certain benefits just because Sony and Xbox can't -blam!-ing play nice. It's so -blam!-ing juvenile.
-
I know what you mean I hated buying 2 different consoles just to play games I like
-
Yeah, it's seriously idiotic. That's the one benefit to playing on PC, but I just don't see myself getting into that, especially because games such as Destiny are unavailable as an option. Because of that, I'd still have to get a PC, and at least one gaming console, so it's still the same problem. That shit is expensive, especially the PCs.
