BO2 does not have the same means of getting gear. Why even make new guns in this game if everyone just wants to use their year one weapons? Why do the new raid after the first time if you have all max stuff from year 1 that you just brought forward? It's called progression. You need to do the new stuff to get new weapons to make it easier to progress.
