I was playing with my brother and some of our mutual friends and one of my buddies that I met through LFG last year. My brother, so you understand, has a pretty short temper. Well the LFG guy makes a really off-color comment about marriage (the other five of us are all married) and my brother immediately mutes him and starts trash talking the guy. Then he asks, "I wonder, can the guy still hear me?" And my buddy said simply, "Yup." Most awkward 45 minutes of crucible ever. Nobody knew what to say after that, so we eventually just broke up the awkward silence with, "Well, I'm going to bed." Moral of the story: when you mute someone(in party chat), you can't hear them but they can still hear you.
