HOMEWARD DRIVE BOUNTY 1ST REFRESH:
[i]After a moment of driving at high speeds, Ricardo and the Hunters near the 'starting line:' a sandy hill leading up and away from the beach and into a grassy field.
But just as they come to it, a dozen black muscle cars come nearly flying over the hill, their engines roaring, and land in front of the Hunters. They quickly drive past them, sand billowing into the air behind them, and make their ways towards Gold Base, which lies 70 miles away.
"It's the Black Coats!" Ricardo barks. "If they get to Gold Base first, they take it!"
He quickly whips his car around and hits the gas, quickly gaining on the Coats' tails. [/i]

((There's way more than 2)) Your turrets manage to shoot down two Coat cars. There are about a dozen left.

As the drivers and passengers notice the car slowing down because of the melted wheels, they all whip out Type-14s and start shooting a barrage of bullets at you.

The car trails behind, losing speed. The man in the passenger seat shoves a Pinn-7 out of his window and shoots at your back with it.

I activate callus right before it hits me. I shoot a finger dart at his neck.

The bullet bounces off of your back, and the finger plants itself successfully into the assailant's jugular, letting out a spray of blood from the man's neck as he slumps out of the window. You'll have to get the finger back after the race. If you survive, that is.

The wheels are blasted to bits, and the car slows out of the race.

I continue to speed ahead, getting in between two cars. I blast at the front wheel of the first car with my shoulder projector while using a grapple hand to fling the driver out of the second one.

The man in the passenger seat whips out a LaDuce-9 and fires a single bullet towards your head.
