The hotbox is the size of a truck. I started sniping with Efrideets, I'm trying to re roll shortgaze, double down, field scout, and clown cartridge.

But when I switch back to my her benevolence (without hidden hand) I barely notice a difference And anyway, high aim assist only increases the time the dot is on the target so aiming for the head is a completely different matter.

5 RepliesAim assist for snipers works different than aim assist for hand cannons. Snipers sights stick to opponents. (Think of it in milliseconds since thats usually how long it will stick). It DOES NOT grant a bigger hitbox on your targets so you still got to be a good shot to land hits and crits. Aim assist however does increase hitbox so slightly for all other weapons. If you do not believe or are stuck on your logic that snipers take no skill. Please visit planet destiny. They have a full guide on how AA works. :)

No,if you use Icebreaker in PvP you suck at sniping. The aim assist is real on that baby.

14 RepliesIf Shadow of Veils makes you upset, then what about Y-09 Longbow Synthesis or Prudence II? Then again, shouldn't you just be happy some people actually snipe instead of running around with a shotgun as a primary?

Same could be said of any "OP" weapon, if you use thorn you suck with hand cannons, if you use felwinters lie you suck at shotguns, it's just the easiest to use of a particular weapon class.

Aim assist does like nothing... It just slows down the reticle when sliding over a target... So it really only helps on drag scopes
