I've never used a Final round sniper and I don't count Gjallarhorn as the be all end all. I only use thorn when I'm up against thornX3 but even then I'd still use red death. Of course I've used Black hammer and Ice breaker in strikes, but why wouldn't you? They're the best lol Edit: oh, and I've only ever tried blink shotgunning like 4 times, and I'm REALLY bad at it D; so I gave it up.

I mainly use hawkmoon and shotys. Yes I'm a scrub but I do it cause its frustrating getting killed by the legions of Thorns and tlw. Hopefully bungie gets this wepon balance right, wich I doubt they are somewhat sucky at balancing stuff.

It is never a consumers fault for paying and playing a game, abusing the guns and mechanics THEY designed isnt something you should blame yourself for... EVER. I hope you realize that kiddo. 2. Final round on a sniper will be a beast of an option and i cant wait to test out my spear with the shift in this perk. 3. so many people seem to be ignoring the fact that all rockets are getting a 10% buff in blast radius and ghorns extra damage from wolf pack rounds will still be severely effective, at least im willing to bet so, they just wont be such a crutch for elitist to make invite choices. 4. people very well might still use thorn because of its rate of fire and the fact the damage over time is still damage over time, if youre good at this game, it doesnt matter what gun you use, youll still remain ontop of the board with a high kd. 5. Cant wait for the blink nerf but again, its still going to be used because of its effectiveness of becoming unpredictable for the person shooting at you, just less effective. Doesnt mean someone is a scrub because they use what they paid for. 6. i dont even know what to say to this, plenty of people will still kill these bosses easily, not because of what guns they use but simply because of how easy it is to kill these guys in general, icebreaker or not. This patch is the reason I stopped playing weeks ago. More of the same "you play how we say not how you want" attitude from Bungle, no thanks.

I am glad they are leaving them behind. That is how it should be. I don't want to see the same weapons that have been a staple for the past year, continue to muddy the waters. New is good, and good will be new.

You know a game is bad when people talk about the weapons used to play the game instead of the actual content of the game itself.

The next "Gjallarhorn" will be the sleeper stimulent. A piercing railgun that has its projectile bounce of the walls up to 5 times, cap through multiple enemies, if used right. The new "Thorn" will be the fate of all fools scout rifle. Even as slow to fire, all it requires is 2 body shots and 1 precision shot to eliminate anything with its perk. As thorn only has so little range now, and all hand cannons being mid range weapons, this scout rifle can perform sniping action. Personally ill be using the fate for PvE and the mida for pvp. People become too dependant, and want others to only use the thing they have... Thats how gjallarhorn started
