The original story had the Black Garden in the Travelers heart. Parts of the original story are still there, but the Traveler has not been identified as our enemy yet. So it is unknown what's inside

Yeah, without his soul in our world, he's powerless. But his Wakers would never have stopped until his soul had been summoned or he had been killed
