To those who would go as far to call people whiners, fools, baby's, etc..
You really are dense aren't you? Look, this is the feedback forum, if you don't like the feedback, leave the forum.
You could argue "WHY U NO LEAVE GAM WHEN U NO LIEK GAM"
Would you like to know the answer?
Because constructive criticism and community action will improve this game. Not you, defending its ever-so gleaming flaws.
When you stand up for bungie, you stand up for a broken game, a cash grab, and a scheme to take your money. If you find it enjoyable? FINE. That's fine, good on you!
Don't attack others, insult others, and undermine others simply for not agreeing with you, okay? You just look like a cultist. A fanboy too blind to the hand that feeds him smacking him upside the head while he's too busy defending him.
EDIT ~ thank you all so much. It means the world that you guys would care enough to give me feedback, and show support for this post.
EDIT #2 ~ Addressing those who would argue I'm "trash" at playing Destiny (open the spoiler)
I'm trash?
Is it because I haven't gone flawless in the trials of Osiris, or is it because I have a character who isn't a level 34?
Just because I focused more time into having fun, and playing PvE over frustratingly broken PvP doesn't mean I'm any less of a player, or that my opinion is worth any less.
Bump, but the losers that can't see straight only because their noses are buried so far up Bunghole's azz are NEVER going to be able to comprehend it. ;)

Human decency is on the decline, gaming is on the rise. It should come as no surprise that hatred will fill the forums, and it'll only get worse as time goes on. We're going to lose. The poison that's in these forums is a poison that's going to spread as gaming grows in popularity. Gaming's becoming more and more like just another business and the people are becoming worse for it, both in their wallets and their hearts. I'm personally thinking that it's just about time to pack it up and find another amazing hobby, but I know better. There's nothing like gaming, and even if there was, it'd just be taken over too. So for now, you're right: Keep up whatever you're doing kids. But don't be that guy that only lives to spew ignorance and hatred everywhere. Learn to be and keep civil.

Lets ask Bungie to nerf NERF posts An endless cycle. Should we all just play pvp and have a dance off? Every weapon that kills are being called to get nerfed.

Edited by Madlax72: 8/26/2015 2:40:28 PMSome people are really asking to be ridiculed. I think many people that actually do like the game and the upcoming changes - I dare to say they exist - are getting tired of self-centered people thinking they game should be exactly to THEIR liking. The moaners are usually the loudest ones in this forum. I would hate if Bungie starts making changes because of a people ranting in this forum. There has to be an opposition from those who do agree with Bungie's decisions.

love the post brother and fully agree. and the spoiler I also love , was recently called a scrub by some PvP hot to trot squeeker just begging for a butthurt mode added to his character , pointed out he only had a 0.7 k/d in ToO and he was bragging about going flawless and so I shut him down and pointed out he was carried by better players . PvP is broken and horrible , I run 30mbps on cable wired connection with all settings bungie suggests and all i get is setup with teams of redbars -_- and since I refuse to use all the cheap PvP weapons I feel anyone who does is using a crutch for wins . I like the PvE its fun with little to deal with along the lines of garbage spewing punks.

Let all these guys go back to the days when purples turned blue and blues turned green. When destiny had huge real problems. I'm talking critical gameplay and endgame advancement problems. Half the people I played with the last couple weeks are new or started playing in the last month so when we tell them tales about how messed up shit was they don't appreciate the customer feedback that made it at least what it is today. If we didn't bitch about re-levelling exotics we would still be doing it today. Oh wait with the new dlc they would have us do it all over again. "But you get the best perk first this time guys" lol what a troll.
-
I agree. Never insult someone for saying they are leaving Destiny, that is their choice. We hope they come back but there is no need to call them names. Same goes for those who are enjoying the game. Basically just be excellent to each other. Everyone's feedback is welcome, just keep it clean.
-
I don't condone insulting people, but I can understand we as a community's frustration with people like that. For one, people who make post about quitting Destiny rarely actually give feedback, just reminds us of how the game sucks. Negativity is something that we need no more of in this forum. These "I quit" threads are generally filled with insults to the game rather than actual feedback. Actual feedback doesn't announce they're quitting. There's no reason to say such, if you have feedback, give it. There's no need to say "I'm quitting" like you were a crucial focal point in the Destiny community. As a person who really likes the game, I don't mind feedback, hell I welcome it. It's what's shaping the game today and why most of our complaints are being dealt with. But, keeping in mind that I like the game, it irks me when people basically bash the game. How would you feel if a group of people or person kept saying something you liked sucked? Your car? House? Favorite sports team? Your mate? You'd likely get agitated after a while. That's why I really have no sympathy for those people who make "I quit" post that don't give real feedback, just looking for attention and an opportunity to say Destiny sucks.

A--blam!-ING-Men!

As much as I might say I will leave this game, I have never left Bungie. I have faith in the company, however not Activision.
-
-
See what gets in my nerves is that if you would take a look at the first about 20 threads you would see the same thing over and over again nerf thorn nerf thorn nerf thorn in leaving I'm leaving in leaving, so my point is make one thread post it then leave it to bungie and don't make 5 more saying the same thing but ever angrier because you didn't get what you wanted the next day. Simple as that, stop repeating the same FREKIN thing over and over because they can see and it takes time to do things, you don't finish a big science project in 2 days, imagine coding and programming and making a whole game then updating it but making sure it doesn't conflict with the other things in the game. There will always be mistakes and there will always be the best gun because there will never be equality with a gun, always a better one.
-
I'm not about to insult someone that has decided that Destiny isn't fun or worth their time. If they want to leave then that's okay. I hope they find a game that they enjoy. If it isn't fun or entertaining then why play it? If people want to discuss Destiny after they have left then that's okay with me, but like everyone else they need to keep it respectful to those that are continuing to play Destiny.

Bump, Bump, Bump = this all day, amazed that people haven't come to this point of view yet in massive numbers... Sad that gamers making games for gamers would try and pull the wool over their fellow brothers and sisters eyes with hollow promises, blatant lies and consistent cash grabs....shame BETHESDA wasn't behind this project = we very well might have gotten the game we were sold on in the first place, a 10 year epic open world journey through the Universe without the constantly dissapointing and minimal DLC with highly over-priced price tags. It seems to me that if we bought a movie/dvd/blu-ray and came to find upon playing it = that we could only view the first 20 minutes, but were told that we could pay for another 20 minutes and then another to get the whole experience... I believe people would have a different attitude towards all of this. Perception and perspective seem an all to over-rated and under utilized gift of the mind to some people these days :(

Huge bump. Every Bungie interview they admit the games not perfect and they need feedback. They have asked for players to be brutally honest and tell them what's broken, what they don't like and why. If they know the problems then they can fix them. Feedback is great. And it's made many changes already to the game. Anyone that doesn't get that should go back and watch last weeks twitch steam. You see the new experience focused leveling, the new light level system, the gunsmith, the ghosts with perks, the larger vault, the ghost bounty tracking, the new quest UI, ...... That's from feedback. All of those were things the community asked for and suggested on these feedback forums. I remember seeing someone show their "pages" vault UI they made themselves. I recall seeing a ghost image with bounties when you pulled it out. I personally made a rib about the gunsmith. I said "fire him and give him a broom with other robots OR give him some cool stuff". *not saying I personally am responsible, but I like to think someone at Bungie saw that and asked the question "what could we do for gunsmith". Point is, feedback works.

Bump.

I agree with you. I see the flaws in the game, and I become irritated like everyone else. However, like you said constructive criticism helps, and there are a lot of people on this forum who don't give constructive criticism. The number of personal attacks I've seen is simply ridiculous. Not only this, but many posts simply say the game sucks followed by a bunch of swearing and capitalization. Everyone has a right to say something, but please, I implore everyone to make sure that what you are saying is constructive and at the least respectful! Thank you for posting this.
-
Bump, Iv seen so many Posts ending in arguments recently just due to a difference of opinion. People are entitled to say what ever they wish as it's purely feedback or giving an opinion. But NO member has any excuses for attacking players when they don't agree with something. Thanks for posting this op. It was a brave thing to do as you opened yourself up to attack, but said what needed to be highlighted anyway. You walk into the light guardian and I salute you.
-
BUMP, I actually did the heroics tonight just to get myself sleepy. No real reason to play other than boredom.
-
Constructive criticism is all well and good, but if you aren't in a majority it gets lost in all of the other noise.
My personal thoughts on the #refund : you shouldn't be able to get your money back on something that isn't defective and doesn't say satisfaction guaranteed. Circumstances may vary, but let's be honest here, Destiny works fine, and it doesn't say satisfaction guaranteed.
Edited by Benfrizz: 8/26/2015 3:48:15 AMI agree. Feedback is a very necessary and healthy thing to have in a developing game, and people should be able to express their opinions, but the rage and toxicity that plagues these forums and the internet entirely is what i cant stand.
I've seen terrible things born out of the forums. Every moment makes them saltier... Our fight is far from over.
-The Stranger (Kind of)
