Yup, pretty much what I expected from the new Bungie. This is what I've been saying people, the new Exotics will suck. They are getting rid of half of our old Exotics and replacing them with this trash.
You all should be telling them how you feel about that.

No Land Beyond requires great skill (something you obviously lack) and it rewards you handsomely in PVP. You need to get a better list together and play the game more before you come on this forum and bash the exotics with your blatant ignorance. I don't play as a Warlock but they have some of the best exotics.

What you claim suck may be a rewarding experience for another. I'll grant you one thing, though. That Necrocasm was a piece of junk. Hopefully the new buff will rectify it.

So you expect every exotic to be the best or worth using over another exotic? TTK exotics will be better than year 1 exotics for the simple reason that they will scale to 40.

That isn't a good enough reason for them to be better. Power does not equal quality.

Well, Gjallarhorn would be the exception. It's quality perk is that it gets way more powerful. Ice Breakers quality perk is that it regenerates ammo. Thorn causes dot. Patience and time makes you invisible. Aclyophage symbiote gives you an extra golden gun shot. And many more that don't increase damage. These are all fun to use (not as much fun to be killed by). Damage output does not equal fun in all cases, except Gjallarhorn. Damage does not equal quality.

You are correct damage does not equal quality, but almost all exotics have perks that deal with being able to deal more damage. Even the majority of armor is about being able to deal more damage. I can think of very few instances where people don't wear damage boosting gear in the place of utility.

Well, I love my Knucklehead radar. It's gotten me kills when I should have been dead. So not a damage buff there. Purifier robes, one of the most loved armors in Destiny does no damage. There's more, but I need to go.

Actually no land beyond is crazy good if you know how to use it. And most of those (especially auto rifles ) got nerfed at one point or another. You also left out a lot of good exotics

Well, you got me there. You knew what I meant though, so the callenge remains with an added caveat. Which year one piece of armor, not weapons, would you be willing to give up so that I could kill you while you wore this POS? Assuming that all year 1 Exotics would scale to 40.

Well wearing armor just so you could kill me defeats the purpose of the armor and doesn't really prove anything. I don't think the hovering while aiming thing is good per say but I'm not judging the expansion off one piece of gear.

That wasn't the question, as you well know. What piece of year 1 armor, if ascended to 40, would you be willing to give up so that you could fly for a second while aiming down the sights?

So you're saying that you would rather have Angel of Light on your Titan than have your radar active on all primaries while aiming down the sights. Can't follow you there. I'm with you on the ATS/8. That thing is trash and I forgot that it exsisted. Congrats, you win. You were able to find one year 1 exotic that is worse than Angel of Light. It is TDB, and the beginning of Bungies slide toward making Destiny the worst that it could be, but you have answered the question as stated and intended. Nicely done. Here's a like.

Radar on primary doesn't really serve that much of a purpose. The only time I could see someone using it is tunnel visioning in PVE or running around crucible in iron sight. Neither seem like a good idea. If I wanted to do that I'd just wear a decent helmet and put on my MIDA.
