We're only three exotics in and there's already so much hate. This community -blam!-ing sucks.
Edit: ok a lot of people seem to think I'm advocating that these are awesome. No idea how you keep getting that from my post. All I'm saying is that we've seen THREE new exotics, two of them are eh, but still, we can give the doomsday "year 2 exotics are going to be shit" posts a break. This community constantly jumps to being negative, that's why it sucks, that's all I'm saying.

I like them all so far. I think they look really cool. It would be difficult for me to care less about perks. I want to rock the armor because it looks sweet. That shotgun with slugs has my name all over it. Love the intricate designs.

Well, they are pretty damn bad. I don't know about the shotgun because I haven't read the perks but the new Warlock chest probably took the number one most usless exotic spot.

I'm not saying they're good, I'm just saying we see three exotics, only two really, that aren't great as far as perks go, and every other post I'm reading is "oh year 2 exotics are gonna suck" or some version of that. Based off of 2 crappy exotics. This community instantly jumps off the negativity deep end. It's getting old.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I actually like the Titan helmet. I love playing with Defender using Gift of Light so that helmet will be great for me. The new exotic Fusion Rifle looks pretty sick too.

Its only the first few exotics! All classes are getting at least half a dozen exotic armor. So if these ones are mediocre then the rest have to be good hopefully. Don't let us down bungie /: best for last am I right?

Exactly we've seen three of dozens, and yea they aren't great, but that doesn't mean all of them will be shit. The constant negativity on these forums is unreal.

No but i expect people to give it more than three exotics before they decide that all of them will suck, which most of the posts are suggesting.

These might be the weaker ones but why show them before a DLC release? If we could ascend all of our exotic gear then people wouldn't be so mad(Gally excluded).

No. People are saying these exotics suck. And you can't blame them. Vanilla exotics have outclassed every exotic released since. I'm still using armamentarium, lucky Raspberry, voidfang vestment/heart of praxic fire. Why? Because nothing else has added up to being worth an exotic slot.

I'm not blaming them for saying a few of these suck, but jumping to the conclusion that all year 2 exotics will suck based off of these two (the shotgun looks useful IMO) is just typical of this communities negativity.

Angel of Light for Titans? Useless and waste of an exotic slot Chance to get glimmer when picking up primary ammo? Depends on amount of glimmer, BUT another waste of an exotic slot

I guess you're stupid. Because if you like those exotics you don't do PvP and End Game PvE. Nobody said anything about the shotgun, it looks good, but those exotics perks are useless as -blam!-, no one else needs to fly while aiming.

But we're three exotics in and there are already people going "guess all the exotics will suck." Which isn't at all true. I think the disappointment felt is fair. Yes only two armors have been revealed so far, but at the same time, we now know of two armors that have a high chance of being deemed irrelevant. It's not like bones of eao or radiant dance machines that are niche in their uses, these armors upon first look don't even hint at feeling exotic. Like certain year 1 exotics, I'm already considering them to be filler at best. That isn't to say that there won't be great yr 2 exotics, but to reveal these first. Not great pr hype
