We can only speculate, and I understand how a slug works. The problem is that, if I am to understand the archetype Bungie is trying to create, is that it will have the capacity to one-shot at a longer range than even Felwinter's, while having all of the other traits of a shotgun (high aim assist, good handling). This effectively makes it a better handling No Land Beyond with more aim assist and better perks, considering the maps in Destiny almost entirely cater to close quarters engagements. Getting a headshot is, again, not difficult at all, particularly with a weapon which handles similarly to a shotgun.

Well either way don't complain until it kills you right? We don't know anything besides how it fires and its perks

I'm not complaining, I'm simply voicing my concerns about the future of the game. There's a very distinctive difference.
