Who are "The Nine"? I mean other than Xur, do they serve a purpose to us?
Do they want to help us, or are they just observing us?
Was the Exo stranger talking to the nine or Osiris?

They certainly seem helpful The Stranger was probably talking to either Osiris or a future version of our Guardian, I believe
