If God created us he would not have been looking for perfection. Since in Christianity god is all knowing and enternal than in creating adam and eve god knew full well that eve would end up plucking the forbidden fruit. Thus beginning sin, death, decay, etc. We are born to find our own way, we may not know the way but god knows. If he wanted us to be perfect he would have made us perfect with no way to stray from it. But he didnt. And what is so great about perfection? If everyone and everything was absolutely perfect there would be no point in life, in existence. How would you know what good is without bad? How would you love without also knowing hate? How could one see light without dark? God created the universe to observe imperfection, which much more beautiful than perfection.
