Yes but what if everything from yr1 was still an option in yr2? Like, etheric light could ascend everything and ALL exotics would carry forward?
Would you be posting in threads about how pissed you were that you could use new AND old weapons?
Not implying you're pissed, i can see you seem reasonable.
I have no dog in this fight, so to speak. Well before the exotic thing i decided i was burned out on destiny and needed a break til the sequel.
I still like the forums and respect other's arguments and appreciate a decent debate.
In the end it's still just a game and means very little. I would love to see Bungie get this riddle solved so i could look fwd to a perfect game in Destiny 2. This game has tremendous potential if it's managed correctly.
*Btw, i would never expect weapons to carry over on a sequel but i do expect the weapons/gear to carry on, along with all NEW guns, for any DLC. It would not negatively impact anyone. That's the real sticking point. It won't hurt anyone's experience if there were literally a million guns in the game! People just pick and choose. Ghorn? It's getting nerfed so honestly it's the least of my concerns if i were playing TTK.
ANyway, zero hate thus far lol, i'm sure some kid will flame you though ha. have a good one buddy
