I remember I forgot to mute my mic while I was in a party with friends, and I took my headset off and started playfully arguing with my brother. I eventually closed the argument with "Shut up and eat your salad." When I put my headset back on I heard everyone laughing. I went to unmute my mic when I realized it wasn't muted. And I started laughing too. Thus, "Eat your salad" became an inside joke among my group of friends.
