Based on the state of the game right now, with the thorn/shotgun pvp, the gjalli pve and the ultimate repetition of game content... I'm looking forward for ttk and the way they're approaching it. All the exotics that are not coming with have earned it. They dumbed down the game. Why did they wait so long? It's AAA game development. You aggregate all changes for a big upgrade, market it that way, charge a lot of money. That's alright. Nothing new. (Or do you really believe the third class was not already at least prototyped in the game?!) Bungie is throwing out nearly everything that is shitty right now. We can only hope that they do the new content right. If you want to be sure, then wait for the first reviews of ttk and don't preorder.

The third slot was originally to lock in your character class and improve upon it. Not saying they had not thought about a third class prior to release just that third box did have a purpose. I too also hope the changes they are making will improve overall game play.

  • I found this: http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2015/08/19/head-of-the-class-bungie-breaks-down-destinys-new-subclasses-and-abandoned-fourth-class.aspx This kinda confirms, that the classes were, in some form, already designed and implemented before launch, doesn' it?

  • I would say yes it was a thought but that does not mean it was meant to be implemented in the initial release. That is all I was saying. I was really looking forward to the original idea they had put out before launch about being able to lock in a subclass but that never made it to the final build.
