I constantly hold my super in PvE, no point wasting it on an almost cleared room, go to the next one and see if I can't just gun strength anything. Supers are supposed to be there to offer an advantage, and I'll use mine if I need it. Defenders are sticklers for holding onto theirs while playing with randoms.

See a 98 percent cleared room would be sit on it super...next room use super to thin heard and gen orbs for team.

I tend to save mine for when it's needed. All supers are good at thinning numbers when used right, but, its more skilful to use the Super when it's needed, work the gun skills. I find myself saving my supers for the boss, or when there's a huge group of enemies. Unless those two things happen, the gun skill takes charge.
