Everyone calling the new exotics needs chill.
The Titan helm could be a beast in the new raid if bungie ain't been lazy and we get some cool mechanics in it. They could all be awesome depending on what we face come year 2

Because Bungie has such a rich history of not being lazy? Crota raid, PoE....

This is true but so far year 2 looks much better. The clear chopping of the game at a late date could be the reason crota and PoE was lacklustre (I hope) and they have had time to come up with something much better and inventive for year 2 plus the help and ideas of the community to improve things.

It also has its uses, personally I've had great success using angle of light in PvE being able snipe over thing that no one else could and then drop behind cover can be very useful and my point was we don't know what kind of things and environments year 2 will place us in, hopefully things will be different than year one and allow different play styles. In PvP who knows how this could work in mayhem, getting man cannoned across map n have the possibility to stop mid flight maybe? That'd be cool if you ask me.
