I suppose that's why Call of Duty is beating a game designed to be an esport? Counter strike and halo revolutionized the fps genre, but you can't tell me that CoD hasn't had a major impact as well.

It wasn't much of an impact. It was popular, sure, but it didn't change anything.

And that's why whenever some game has sprint, ads, or kill steaks, it's "copying cod" That's why csgo is losing it's esports position to the newest CoD. That's why Sony will pay up the ass to have a few days of exclusivity. Yeah, it's popular. It changed the way we think about the fps genre. It changed the way we advertise and market. Call of Duty brings in famous athletes, actors, for sometimes just 5 seconds in a commercial. Most of all, it's another game on console, that can compete with and even beat out some PC shooters. Did halo do all of they above? Yeah. I'm not denying it. However, you can't say CoD has had little to no impact on the industry.

Hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahaha ROFL!!! Hahahah COD beats most PC shooters!!!! I'm a PS3 and 4 player but PC is still master race and nothing can ever compete with it

What did I supposedly miss read?

Compete=/=beat Cod has a much larger community than CS TF2, etc. While I prefer the PC, I can acknowledge that CoD gives it a run for it's money.
-
Not at all. Any PC game will blow cod out of the water don't care wat it is. PC will beat any game no matter wat
-
Csgo will not loose its spot to cod rofl

I have some bad news for you. I'll try and find the warowl video later.

It's "copying" because it's popular and it's popular because it's the most cookie cutter game out there. If you actually think Black Ops 3 is going to replace CS:GO for competitive gaming, I hate to break it to you, but you're wrong. Nintendo and other huge gaming companies have been marketing like that since the 80s and 90s. All CoD has done and still does is take popular ideas and mix them.
