Greetings, all: I am relatively new to Destiny, having only started playing around March or so. The nature of my schedule (12 hour shifts alternating days/nights each month) and the sheer number of games in my backlog (probably around 700) means I didn't catch up on Destiny news until a few days ago. Now that there are around two weeks left, I am wondering: is it even possible for a level 24 strike oriented titan to get the necessary gear and take on the 5 remaining challenges (Bane of Crota, Bane of Atheon, Bane of Skolas, Light of the Reef, Light in the Dark) plus the Crucible & public event challenges (which I can handle on my own)? If there is anyone that would be willing to drag my butt through those challenges, or if it's simply a fools errand at this point, I'd like to know. I will say that I am seriously motivated (I work well with looming deadlines) and willing to spend much of my days off (3 starting thursday, plus whatever I have between now and the year one mark) in order to complete those challenges if anyone is interested in coaching me through. Also managed to snag 'the chosen' sniper rifle from an engram. has around 330+ damage, i believe? Don't know how well that helps my chances. I heard about the community around this game but never imagined you'd all be so quick to aid. It means the world, truly. UPDATE 2 More time in IB, more public events done, and I scored a piece of legendary armor from an engram so I saved my marks. With armor, should I go for a full set from the same, or can I get different pieces from different sets and still max my level? UPDATE 3 Okay guys, after a lot of help on Crota and a lot of time spent on iron banner, I have three moments of triumph left : Bane of Atheon, Bane of Skolas, and Public Servant. I am 140 points from Iron Banner level 5, and 30 public events from completion. I've reached level 33 and have legendaries and exotics out the wazoo. I know I keep saying this, but thank you - THANK YOU all for your help and inspiration to get this done. I never would have thought I could accomplish so much in such a short time. [b] UPDATE FINAL[/b] Well, I did it. With enough dedication, willpower, and a lot of help from my friends (Dioxynl, BigDaddyCurt, PhoneticLand, UNITZERO, and others) I blew threw 17 levels, 35 public events, 70 crucible matches, 3 raids, Lvl35 PoE, 15 golden chests, and numerous story missions from the main game and beyond, in just under two weeks. I couldn't have done it without all without your help, the help of the Destiny community. Now I can breathe a sigh of relief and take things at a more reasonable pace. I'll see you all out on the front lines.
