Fusion Rifles in PvP are beast, but very few people use them as shotguns are easier. They should remain as is for PvP but receive a 200% damage increase for PvE, especially since they are nerfing shotguns, again...

Agree 100% on the PVE buff but I think they need a notable buff in PVP as well regarding damage falloff and spread. Thanks for your input!

Indeed! I find with PvP that you need the correct fusion. The Light of the Abyss, for example, has a huge spread, whereas the Give/Take Equation is very minimal. They certainly don't need nerfed, in my opinion. However, contrary to popular opinion, Bungie is going to nerf them, again... -.-

I have a plug:1 that is statistically amazing. High impact and same charge as light of the abyss archetype. I try to use it but it is just so weak in comparison to the other weapons. Maybe it will be usable once shotguns get their nerf but only time will tell [spoiler]plug one is on titan[/spoiler]

Sadly, they are only marginally nerfing shot Package. Shotguns like Party Crash +1, Matador 64 and the new Felwinter's Lie won't change at all, since they have the new perks. By the way, the one I have is the Split Shifter Pro, not Give/Take. I have it equipped to my Hunter. The Fusion you have appear to be rated higher in impact and range, but I wonder if that displaces the grouping more? The fusion on my Hunter shoots like an arrow. Pretty beast,

The hip fire perk on your fusion must help the spread pattern a lot.

Probably the case. I figured Hip Fire, Single Point Sling and Hot Swap will make this fusion a beast and it hasn't disappointed. I can't wait to fully upgrade it and try it in Crucible.
