Very correct the balances and tweaks are only directed towards crucible. As for pve you can not even play seriously with fusion rifles even if you wanted to. Not even the hard hitting fusion rifles like praetorian foil or the 77 wizard (Xmas peasants don't know what the wizard is excuse us) stand a chance vs a shotgun in combat the dps of a shotgun vs fusion rifle is not even comparable. A dmg increase to fusion rifles (pve) which they can do would be amazing and we would see a more wide variation of load outs.
