I do not understand why people watch other humans play games. Let me start off by saying if you are watching game play of a game you do not own and want to see what it is like that is perfectly fine aswell as looking up tutorials. However i am pretty sure everyone reading my post is a Destiny player so why in earth would you go watch someone play a game that you could go play on your own? I mean i just do not get it personally.

Why does anyone watch anything they could be doing themselves? Why do people watch sports when they could just all be playing themselves? Why are you here reading about other people playing a game you could just be playing yourself? Really people just want to chill out and watch and not be actively engaged with the game by playing it. Just like you'll get sports players chilling out watching a game, instead of actively participating, sweating, exerting themselves, etc. Not really that hard to understand.

One solid reason that sticks out for me is if someone is incapable of doing whatever it is they're watching but enjoy it and still want to experience it. I never understood why so many people watch sports, and the only time I've watched streams was to check out a new game. I guess I'm just one of those people
