But according to Ghost Fragment: Vex 2, Dr. Shim and other scientists of the Ishtar Collective have captured a Vex mind that can simulate a reality in which the mind has freed itself from captivity. Dr. Shim even says that they are probably in a vex simulation right then.

But they aren't Guardians. That happened pre-Collapse, during the Golden Age, when Guardians didn't exist and Warminds were plentiful

Well if they could simulate a few scientists then I see no reason as to why they couldn't simulate the guardians. Unless their light gets in the way of it or something. I think it's safe to say that we don't really know.

Scientists are just normal human beings. Guardians are resurrected, Light-filled warriors. But idk. I'm on Osiris's side on this topic. Probably cause I'm just as insane.
