The price is reduced from £40 to £27.50
That would reduce the price so that it is in line with what the usa and the rest of Europe(with euro) are paying.
£27.50 is much more than what Ive usually paid for a Dlc in the past with any game but I will give Bungie the benefit of the doubt that this is an expansion and will contain more than the previous dlcs(which were priced at around £18 each or both with the season pass for £35)
Everything looks good, i want it but im not going to be taken the p!ss out of by paying a higher price than the rest of the globe.
EDIT.
*if its full game worthy why isnt it a full game price in the usa or anywhere else? Why only uk paying full game price
* if its to do with taxes in the uk then where were those taxes when I bought vanilla destiny, why did i only pay £40 and not £63.
also for the Americans who believe it is worth $63 but are only paying $40....put your money where you mouth is, buy the dlc for $40 and send me the remaining $23......il use that to buy ttk....everybody is a winner, destiny get the money they deserve, you get to pay destiny what you think the game is worth and I get ttk........tri-tri-tri triple win. (im not serious)

Not that I don't support you, but it won't happen. RIP guardian.
-
I guess you're not getting it then
-
Not going to bother any of us if you do or don't. Just yourself because you are missing out of some entertainment.
-
You mean the season pass which was £35 as well as $35... Oh wait...
-
Changing the price now will cause a lot of trouble to UK webstores that already received payment from their British customers. Unfortunately it won't happen. The only thing you could try is demanding a discount for an upcoming DLC after TTK.
-
Edited by Guardian1902: 8/28/2015 9:21:05 AMI'll only buy TTK if people in the Europe keep complaining.
-
Remember the Tea tax? Payback is a mother... :)
-
It's never going to happen
-
Because your line of thinking is not how economy works. But let's ignore that...
-
Guardian down
-
Hazah! Hazah! Hazah!
-
I'm getting the legendary edition for £42 from Amazon, which seems more in line with American pricing so I'm happy with that
-
The season pass was $35 in the US. And you said it was £35 for you. TTK is $40 in the US, so why is it such a big deal now, but the price of the previous 2 dlc's were perfectly fine?
-
The more they show of the dlc, the less i want it. I think the reveals needed something like hot cheerleaders to make it work. Watching geeks play a scripted sequence whilst deej drones on doesn't SELL me anything. I bet 90% of players are male, so its common sense, TTK should be about how i rescue a bunch of girls from this Oryx guy.
-
Hear hear! Unfortunately, they really don't give a shit.
-
This is why I'm glad I have both a PS4 and Xbox One. I live in the U.S. but I say -blam!- paying $40 for what will essentially be the same as the last two DLCs. I have Gears of War: Ultimate Edition to hold me over to Halo 5 and Fallout 4.

Edited by mccwrc09: 8/28/2015 2:08:28 AMActivision is involved That will never happen You are more likely to make a Hurricane happen in a Junk yard and when it is over, produces a Fully Functional Boeing 737 jet and an Air Force one.
-
Looks like you will just have to go without mate.
-
Well it won't be reduced . Enjoy your next game .
-
Edited by Packis: 8/28/2015 2:19:37 AMI would buy TTK if my Dinkle berries could be licked by Ikora IRL
-
Cool. I will tell you how i like it
-
Hold out for a better deal, it will go on a price cut sooner or later.
-
Cool. I'll buy a second copy to offset your stupid.
-
If that much money will make you go completely broke then get a good job and rethink your life because if £40 will make go broke then wow
-
See you in
The Taken King,Guardian.
Your going to buy it regardless keep telling yourself you wont...
