Long distance relationship can work, but they require A LOT of effort on both sides. I did that and now I'm happily married. Don't act differently, be yourself, be honest with one another, argue what needs to be argued, and remember: no such thing as a [i]perfect[/i] relationship.
Just be your natural self--it's why she liked you in the beginning.
As for what you should say to her upon first meeting, well, say or do what you think she likes. Only you can answer that. But a simple hello and hug go a long way.
Oh, and since this is a new damn epidemic--do NOT be glued to your damn smartphone when you two talk!

Like I said, they require [b]A LOT[/b]--and I mean [b]A LOT[/b] of work. I did it while I was living over seas and my wife was living Stateside. But you both reap what you both sow.
